TESSELLATE

Inspired by my visit to MC Esher’s traveling gallery in Firenze, Italy.

Made with Silk fabric, this fabric moves in the wind and have multiple product applications from scarves, bag Twilly’s, and even tops.

During a nine-month course on Italian Design and Culture in Milan, I reimagined the Hermès Twilly® scarf inspired by M.C. Escher's art. Blending Escher's geometric illusions with Hermès’ elegance, I crafted a scarf design (printed at AllOver Milano) that played with perspective and optical illusions. As a personal touch, I subtly wove my name, "Rahil," into the pattern, adding a mysterious element. This project fuses art and fashion, challenging perceptions and sparking curiosity in luxury design.
